What this means for the remaining foreign hostages in Iraq — who number more than 40, according to the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad — is still not clear. Little is known about the shadowy kidnappers of the hostages who got away in March, and the circumstances of the releases were too different to draw conclusions, say terror experts.
